PINEHURST, N.C. – Sophomores Jimmy Zheng and Ian Siebers are inside the top 10 and the Duke men's golf team sits in second place through two rounds of the Wake Forest Invitational at Pinehurst No. 2.
The Blue Devils are 31-over through 36 holes on a tightly-packed leaderboard that sees Clemson leading at 20-over par. East Carolina (+32) is in third, Wake Forest (+33) in fourth and San Francisco (+34) in fifth to round out the top five of the 12-team field.
Zheng shot a 4-over 144 Monday with rounds of 74 and 71 to sit in a tie for fourth, while Siebers carded rounds of 72 and 74 and is tied for ninth at 6-over 146.
