Blue Devils Hold Eighth Place Through Day Three at NCAAs

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Through three rounds of pool play during the third day of competition at the 2019 NCAA Fencing Championships, the sixth-ranked Duke fencing team is in eighth place in the team standings with 72 points.

Columbia continues to hold first place with 143 points followed by Penn State (139) Notre Dame (135), Harvard (118) and Ohio State (108) round out the top five.

The Blue Devil women represented Duke Saturday on the strips with six participants.

Alex Gorman headlines the first day of the women’s competition in 14th with seven victories in saber, followed by foilist Zoe Superville in 15th with six.
