CLEMSON, S.C. – The Duke track & field team opened the Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C., Friday with a multitude of strong performances that included three top-five marks in program history.
One of the top highlights for the Blue Devils came in the men's distance medley relay, where they took first place with a time of 9:51.86. The time ties Duke with Pittsburgh for the fourth-fastest in the ACC this indoor season. Senior Matt Wisner led off the DMR with a 2:58.8 1200m split, giving the Blue Devils an early lead that they would never relinquish.
