Sophomore Shae Wozniak tallied the lone Duke goal, with her score marking her fourth tally of the season. Classmate Juliette Schulten provided the assist to the goal, collecting her second helper on the year.
Duke finished the contest with a 10-9 edge in shots – despite being held without an attempt in the first half – and generated five penalty corners.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Offense was at a minimum during the opening stanza, with Boston College tallying the only two shots of the quarter. Junior goaltender Kaiya Chepow turned away the Eagles' first attempt two minutes into the game, but BC was able to convert on a set piece to grab a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute.
