KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Several current and former Blue Devils headed to Knoxville this week to race in the TYR Pro Swim Series, held at Tennessee’s Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
USA Swimming National Team member and 2011 Duke graduate Ashley Twichell opened the meet Wednesday evening with a victory in the women’s 800-meter freestyle (8:32.27).
Thursday’s action in Knoxville saw Blue Devil junior Kylie Jordan come in under the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials standard in the women’s 200 butterfly, as she touched at 1:00.60 during finals for 11th place.
