BALTIMORE, Md. – The Duke fencing team completed competition at the April North American Cup (NAC), hosted by the United States Fencing Association in Baltimore, Md.
Freshman Eoin Gronningsater competed in Division I Men’s Foil Monday morning and came away with a 15th-place finish. Gronningsater went 2-3 in pool play before winning two straight bouts in direct elimination before falling in the table of 16 to eventual fifth-place finisher Cameron Levy.
Competing alongside Gronningsater was junior Jan Maceczek. Maceczek compiled an 0-6 ledger in pool play and finished the day 66th.
