WILMETTE, Ill. – The Duke women’s golf team closed the Windy City Collegiate with a sixth place finish as the Blue Devils carded a 14-over-par, 878, over 54 holes at the 6,360-yard, Par 72 Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Ill.
Southern California won the team title with an even-par, 864, with Arizona State (869), Arizona (871), Florida (872), Northwestern (872), Duke (878), Ohio State (892), Purdue (893), South Carolina (896) and Colorado (896) rounding out the top 10 teams.
“We’re really not far away from playing great golf as a team,” commented Duke head coach Dan Brooks.
