Blue Devils Close Second Round with 9-Stroke Lead

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Duke women’s golf team returned to the course Sunday morning and officially put a stamp on one of the most impressive rounds in NCAA Championship history as the Blue Devils carded an 11-under-par, 281, and currently leads by nine strokes with 18 holes remaining in stroke play.

Only two Duke golfers had to finish their rounds Sunday as sophomore Jaravee Boonchant made par on No. 18 and sophomore Miranda Wang had a par on No. 17 and bogey on No. 18. Boonchant finished her round at 2-under-par, while Wang was one-under at the 6,397-yard, par 73 Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
