DURHAM, N.C. – During the Duke women's golf team impressive victory at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge last week, the Blue Devils collected 54 birdies and one eagle on their way to increasing their total raised for 2019-20 to $8,662.25 for the Duke Children's Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units.
Against one of the best fields nationally, the Blue Devils carded rounds of 291, 273 and 283 on their way to finishing with a seven-stroke victory and a 54-hole ledger of 847. The field included nine top 10 teams. The win for head coach Dan Brooks was his 137th career victory, which continues to lead all NCAA Division I head coaches.
