DURHAM, N.C. – With the fall golf seasons coming to a close, the Duke men’s and women’s golf programs raised $6,908.50 for the Duke Children’s Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. In the second year of the Birdies for Babies program, the teams are on pace to shatter the $10,565 the women’s program raised a season ago.
Over the fall season, the women’s team saw action in four tournaments and registered 193 birdie equivalents and the men’s team competed in five tournaments and notched 283 birdie equivalents.
It is never too late to get involved in the Birdies for Babies program.
