JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Duke’s B team performed impressively in the 46th Intercollegiate Golf Championship, tallying an 851 (-13) mark for their weekend at the Paradise Point Golf Course on the grounds of the Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base.
Finishing just one shot behind tournament champion Methodist, the Blue Devils mirrored the consistency of their teammates who were taking part in the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tenn. over the weekend, as they too battled unfavorable weather conditions that made the course extra challenging.
Andrew Bieber finished atop the leaderboard with a gutsy 210 (-6) performance that featured the overcoming of delays early on in the tournament due to heavy rain.
