DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke rookie duo of Graham Barton and Porter Wilson were honored this week after being named to The Athletic's Freshman All-America team.
Both Barton and Wilson were tabbed to the second team for their first career postseason honors.
Barton earned his first game action against NC State after season-ending injuries to Duke's previous two starting centers in Jack Wohlabaugh and Will Taylor. The 6-6, 315-pound Brentwood, Tenn., product, then recorded his first career start against Charlotte and finished his opening season playing in six games, making five starts.
