DURHAM – Duke senior offensive lineman Graham Barton and redshirt senior defensive tackle DeWayne Carter have been named to the preseason watch list for the Lombardi Award, which is an honor presented annually to the college football offensive or defensive lineman who exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Fame Head Coach Vince Lombardi in addition to outstanding performance and ability.
This is Barton's second preseason watch list selection as he was also tabbed to the Outland Trophy watch list. Carter picked up his third watch list nomination after being named to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and the Chuck Bednarik Award watch lists.
