DURHAM – Duke senior offensive lineman Graham Barton and redshirt senior defensive tackle DeWayne Carter have been named to the midseason watch list for the Lombardi Award, which is an honor presented annually to the college football offensive or defensive lineman who exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Fame Coach Vince Lombardi in addition to outstanding performance and ability.
In 36 career games (35 starts), Barton has amassed 2,425 snaps. Through six games this season, the Brentwood, Tenn., native has created holes for a Blue Devils rushing attack that has gained 1,191 yards on the ground and 17 rushing scores.
