Balogun, Chidom to Compete for Nigeria in Tokyo

DURHAM – One current Duke women's basketball player and a former Blue Devil will compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics for Nigeria as Elizabeth Balogun and Oderah Chidom made the final roster, as announced Tuesday.

The pair will join 2014 Duke graduate Chelsea Gray in Tokyo, improving the total to three Blue Devils representing Duke women's basketball. Gray was selected for the 12-player roster for the United States.

D'Tigeress started their five-month training stint in February, according to the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF). Balogun and Chidom were two of 12 named to the team under the direction of Otis Hughley Jr.
