Fans of Team USA watched this summer’s World Cup performance with resignation and frustration as the US, undermanned and with little time together, had a dismal performance.
Apparently some NBA types noticed too and several of them have already said they’d like to be on the Olympics team: Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Damon Lillard, James Harden and LeBron James have all said they’d like to go, although James is more hesitant than the others.
If they’re healthy and follow through, it’ll be a very difficult team to beat.
We’ll have to wait and see though.
