In Wednesday’s ACC action, UNC walloped UNC-W 97-69, Virginia Tech gobbled up VMI 89-68, State stuffed and mounted the Catamounts 100-67 and Louisville more than doubled up on Central Arkansas 86-41.
UNC’s score looks like a blowout but Wilmington was in that game for a reasonable stretch. The Tar Heels ran off an imposing 30-3 run in the second half to put it out of reach though.
UNC got Seventh Woods back from a concussion but lacked freshman star Cody White, out with a sore ankle.
It might matter in a more challenging game but not this one.
