ACC Roundup - Not An Impressive Tuesday

As we said earlier, the ACC teams that played Tuesday night almost all had a chance at being upset or losing.

Providence took BC into overtime and won, Clemson barely beat 2-6 St. Peter’s at home 65-60, Oklahoma lassoed Notre Dame 85-80 and Miami fell to last place in the Ivy after losing to Penn 89-75 after having lost to Princeton last time out.

Only Syracuse had an impressive night, and that’s relative considering the opponent, beating 4-5 Northeastern 72-49.

If Boston College could have stopped a late three, the Eagles would have beaten PC but consider this: despite losing Jerome Robinson, a lottery pick in this past summer’s draft, the Eagles are still competitive and have found useful young players in Wynston Tabbs and Jairus Hamilton.
