One of the things we thought was a given for Pitt was strong backcourt play yet Xavier Johnson has not played well to date.
As the Pitt paper notes, Jeff Capel is incorporating four new guys into his rotation and Johnson is now understood by his opponents.
Long story short, he’s a sophomore now and needs to step up and play like a guy who’s seen some wars.
