In Friday’s ACC Action, Virginia popped Northeastern, 97-72, Miami clobbered Wagner, 83-57, Boston College handled UMass, 71-55, Georgia Tech got by Georgia Southern 95-83, NC State came back to beat ETSU, 77-63, UNC crushed Wofford, 109-70, Clemson overcame American, 82-73, Florida State smoked Troy, 91-68, and Stanford dismissed Oakland, 81-63.
UNC fans were stressed out by close recent games against Charlotte and Western Carolina, but Wofford was an easy win. The Terriers were never really in this one. UNC shot 52 percent overall and 40 percent from behind the line. Terrence Brown led the way with 21 points.
