ACC Limbo: How Low Can You Go?

A regular component of Georgia Tech’s media notes is a section called “Pastner’s Key Metrics” that tracks game goals established by head coach Josh Pastner, or at least adopted by him.

Guard rebounding is mentioned, but the three metrics explicitly tracked by the Yellow Jackets are assists to field goals, the goal 60 percent of shots supported by a teammate’s pass; free throws made to opponents’ attempts, aiming for more made than the other team tries; and turnovers, the target there being 11 or fewer per game.

The Jackets handled Nebraska 73-56 in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge despite failing to meet any of Pastner’s goals.
