DURHAM, N.C.—Seven members of the Duke women’s lacrosse team were selected to the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll as announced by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association Wednesday. The seven honorees are tied with Notre Dame for the most in the ACC.
Notre Dame and Duke both had seven players recognized, while no other team in the league had more than four recipients of the award. Duke led the way last season with eight.
Recent Duke University graduates Chloe Lewis, Jamie Lockwood, Ellie Majure, Michelle Staggers and Charlotte Tucci were among the 501 student-athletes from 99 different institutions to be recognized on the honor roll.
