Earlier this season the Duke Men’s Soccer team tied with a top-five ranked ACC foe and 2014 NCAA Champion, and over the weekend the women’s team had a similar “semi-upset” of the 2nd ranked team in the nation and defending national champions Florida State tying 0-0 in double overtime for their first conference match of the year.
Duke dominated on offense during the game doing everything except scoring, out-shooting FSU 25-8. The team was excellent in the game against the #2 Seminoles, with head coach Robbie Church saying “It was a great game. The kids played really well.
