DURHAM – Eleven members of the Duke field hockey team have been selected to the 2023 NFHCA Division National Academic Squad the organization announced Wednesday.
Earning recognition for their outstanding efforts in the classroom as well as the turf are Paige Bitting, Alayna Burns, Issy Carey, Kira Curland, Maggie Kondrath, Megan Maransky, Kyle Massey, Alaina McVeigh, Sophia Miller, Abby Spear and Macy Szukics.
Burns is a four-time honoree, while Carey and Maransky garnered their third National Academic Squad recognition.
