DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's tennis team came back to beat South Dakota 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
The Coyotes managed to win the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead.
The Bulldogs regrouped after doubles and took care of business early in singles. Sophomore Kenya Williams rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3, while junior Summer Brills cruised to a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 1, giving Drake a 2-1 lead.
South Dakota retook the lead, 3-2, with wins on courts five and six.
