ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Drake University women's tennis team is slotted fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Poll, the league announced Wednesday.
The Bulldogs finished 8-16 overall last season with a 2-3 mark in conference play.
Drake (1-1) opened the season on Jan. 16 with a home win over Sacramento State, 4-3, before falling to No. 19 Kansas in Lawrence two days later.
The Bulldogs return to action with a home dual against South Dakota at 10 a.m. on Jan. 25.
