DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's tennis team used another strong performance in singles to secure a 4-3 victory over Augustan (S.D.) on Sunday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs were just a few points away from earning the doubles point, but the Vikings' Kornel Staniszewska and Berkley Darr managed to win the tiebreaker over Tess Herder and Kenya Williams securing Augie the doubles point.
Drake got out to a great start in singles as all six Bulldogs won their first set.
