The Drake women's soccer team is in South Dakota to take on the Coyotes for its final road match before starting conference play. Kick off is set for 6 p.m. in Vermillion South Dakota on Thursday Sept. 9.
The Bulldogs (3-2-1) are on a three-game winning streak after taking down St. Thomas in overtime. In the 94th minute, freshman Makenna Shepard passed the ball into the box and found senior Libby Helverson who then scored for the Bulldogs to win 1-0.
Helverson's game winning goal, game winning assist against SIUE, and three points between both games earned her Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday.
