CHICAGO – Loyola scored two late goals in a 3-2 comeback win over the Drake University women's soccer team in the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship match Sunday at Loyola Soccer Park in cold, rainy and windy playing conditions.
"We have some really disappointed players right now, but a very proud staff," said Drake head coach Lindsey Horner. "Since last spring's practices we talked about how everyone on the outside would consider this a rebuilding year after graduating the players we did, but we knew we had talented players that needed more experience.
