Box Score DES MOINES, Iowa – Sophomore Cassie Rohan (Palatine, Ill.) and redshirt senior Rebecca Rodgers (Peotone, Ill.) scored goals for the Drake University women's soccer team in a 2-1 win over UNI in Missouri Valley Conference action on Wednesday night at the Cownie Soccer Complex.
Drake (10-3-1, 3-0-0 MVC) and UNI (10-3-1, 2-2-0 MVC) were originally supposed to play Tuesday night at Cownie, but the in-state match was pushed back a day due to rain in the Des Moines metro. The Bulldogs earned their first win over the Panthers since the 2011 season, and the victory broke a four-year run of the teams battling to a draw.
