DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's soccer team held its annual awards and senior banquet this past Saturday, Dec. 10 to celebrate the 2016 season and its senior class.
Drake finished the season with a 12-4-3 overall record after being eliminated by Indiana State in the quarterfinals of the MVC Tournament. The 12 wins are the most for the program since the 2012 season. The Bulldogs set a program-record with 11 shutouts on the year.
"Saturday night was a nice event to celebrate the success we had this season and to thank our seniors for their years of service to our program," said head coach Lindsey Horner.
