SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drake University women's soccer team battled Missouri State to a scoreless draw on Tuesday night in Missouri Valley Conference action at Allison South Stadium.
Drake (11-3-2, 4-0-1 MVC) outshot Missouri State (6-9-1, 2-2-1 MVC), 23-12, including 11-7 shots on goal in its third match in seven days. The Bulldogs backline and senior goalkeeper Haley Morris (Clive, Iowa) recorded their sixth shutout this season. Morris finished with seven saves.
"We didn't do a good enough job in the first half of adjusting in the run of play of breaking down their backline," said head coach Lindsey Horner.
