MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Drake University women's golf completed the first day of the Bulldog Invitational on Monday as the Bulldogs are in fifth-place through 18 holes.
We saw a lot of good things today. There were some slow starts and not our best ball striking, but we remained focused and finished the round strong," Drake head coach Rachael Pruett said. "As a team, we continued to improve and are right on the cusp of breaking through."
The Bulldogs recorded a 316 and just nine strokes behind Wofford and Appalachian State who are tied for second with a score a 307.
