The Drake University women's golf team looks to continue its strong start to the spring season at the UTRGV Women's Invitational March 2-3. The Bulldogs tee off in the first round at 8:30 a.m. CST Monday morning with the second round beginning immediately after the conclusion of the first round.
The 54-hole event is hosted by the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley at the McAllen Country Club in McAllen, Texas. This year is the fifth time UTRGV has hosted the event and the first year that Drake has competed in the tournament.
The 13-team field includes Chicago State, Incarnate Word, Kansas City, Lamar, McLennan Community College, New Mexico State, Prairie View A&M, Stephen F.
