The Drake University women's golf team is in second place after the two rounds of the Battle at Boulder Creek in Boulder City, Nev. The third and final round will begin tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. CST.
The Bulldogs finished the first round one stroke behind first-place Ball State, paced by 77 and 79 on the par-72 course. Drake matched Ball State in the second round to remain one shot out of first place going into the final round with a team score of 632.
Lee is currently tied for second overall, trailing only UNLV's Dana Puyol who is competing as an individual.
