The Drake University women's golf team held steady in third place to finish the Creighton Classic in Omaha, Neb. on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs finished with a 36-hole total of 630 (322-308) which was nine strokes behind second-place Northern Iowa. Host school Creighton won the event with a 617 (306-311).
Drake was led by Kirsten Giles, who finished tied for third with 151 (77-74) for her second top-10 finish of the Fall season. Aimee Gerschke finished seventh with a total of 158 (83-75) for her second consecutive top-10 finish, and freshman Abby Marting finished tied for eighth with a 36-hole total of 159 (84-75).
