CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Drake women's golf faced in-state and MVC opponent UNI in match play on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course. The Panthers won the friendly match, 9-7.
11 of the 16 players on Tuesday are Iowa natives (including four from Drake) with many growing up player together over the years.
"It was a good experience for us to play 36 holes on a different course," head coach Steve Smith said. "It was a great day for women's golf in the state of Iowa. UNI's coaches and players were great hosts.
