Normal, Ill. – The Drake University women's golf team finished tied for eighth after the first two rounds of the Redbird Invitational at the Weibring Golf Club on Saturday, Sept. 8.
The Bulldogs recorded a 36-hole total of 597 which is just four strokes behind host team Illinois State and seven behind Southern Illinois. IUPUI currently leads the event at 586 with Xavier and Bradley trailing by one and three strokes respectively.
Drake was paced by sophomore Haeri Lee who posted rounds of 70 and 73 to finish tied atop the leaderboard with Elyse Emerzian of Bradley.
