The Drake University women's golf team heads to Flossmoor, Ill. for the Loyola Invitational on Monday, Sept. 16. The event is at the Flossmoor Country Club and is hosted by MVC rival Loyola.
Drake finished the 2018 Loyola Invite tied for second-place with the host team, Loyola, and South Dakota finished with a commanding 28-stroke lead over the Bulldogs and Ramblers to finish in first. Then-freshman Haeri Lee took fifth-place with a 54-hole total of 230 (75-74-81).
The Bulldogs are coming off of a ninth-place finish at the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Ill. Drake was paced by Lee who finished tied for third with a 54-hole total of 217 (70-73-74) and was named MVC Golfer of the Week for her play.
