TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Drake University women's basketball defeated Indiana State, 84-51, Sunday afternoon in Missouri Valley Conference at the Hulman Center.
Drake (18-7, 13-0 MVC), which never trailed against Indiana State (8-15, 6-6 MVC) and held an eight-point halftime lead, blew open the game with a big third quarter. The Bulldogs made 10-of-14 shots, including three three-pointers, and knocked down six free throws, to lead by 25 points, 67-42, after three quarters.
