DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's basketball team starts Missouri Valley Conference play against in-state rival UNI Friday night at the Knapp Center. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.
The game is presented by Bankers Trust and is Teachers Appreciation Day. Discounted tickets are available online in recognition of teachers, who if they present their school ID at the concession stands can buy $1 popcorn and hot dogs as well as enter a drawing for a chance to win a $100 gift card. School supplies will be collected to support area schools.
