DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's basketball team returns to the Knapp Center for its first home game since Jan. 22 when it hosts Illinois State on Friday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Knapp Center with the contest being broadcast on The Valley on ESPN3 and on the radio on 1350 ESPN Des Moines.
Drake (18-4) returns to its home floor coming off a 73-48 road win over Evansville on Super Bowl Sunday. The Bulldogs have 12-straight victories, including winning their first 11 Missouri Valley Conference games for the program's best ever start to league play (1997-98; 10-0).
