PEORIA, Ill. – The Drake University women's basketball opened Missouri Valley Conference play with a 92-63 road win over Bradley Friday night at the Renaissance Coliseum.
Drake (9-4, 1-0 MVC), which never trailed in the contest, was led in scoring for the second-straight game by (Urbandale, Iowa) who poured in a game-high 26 points. Hittner scored a career-high 32 points in the Bulldogs' previous game against Iowa.
(Eldon, Mo.) recorded her fifth double-double this season with 22 points and 14 rebounds. (Wichita, Kan.) finished with 11 points to hit 1,000 career points exactly. Bachrodt added four steals, three rebounds and three assists while Hittner had six rebounds, four assists and one steal.
