VALPARAISO, Ind. – The Drake University women's basketball team never trailed in an 85-53 victory at Valparaiso Saturday afternoon at the ARC Center. With the road win, Drake (23-7, 18-0 MVC) went undefeated in Missouri Valley Conference play for the second-straight season.
Sara Rhine (Eldon, Mo.) was one of four Bulldogs in double figure points. Rhine poured in a game-high 25 points on an impressive 10-of-13 shooting performance. Becca Hittner (Urbandale, Iowa) scored 15 points. Becca Jonas (Independence, Mo.) recorded her second double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
