DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's basketball team, the two-time defending Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament champions, announced its 2018-19 MVC schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 4. The traditional 18-game, round-robin Valley format completes the 2018-19 schedule after Drake announced a challenging 12-game non-conference slate last week.
The non-conference schedule features games with five opponents that made the 2018 NCAA Tournament and a trip to the inaugural Vancouver Showcase, where the Bulldogs start against Rutgers and could potentially play the defending national champions, Notre Dame, as part of a strong eight-team field.
