VANCOUVER, Canada – The Drake University women's basketball team fell to No. 1/1 Notre Dame 82-64 Friday evening in the semifinals of the Vancouver Showcase.
(Eldon, Mo.) led Drake (5-1) in scoring with 18 points and has reached double figures every game this season. Two others joined Rhine in double digits as (Wichita, Kan.) added 11 points and (Jordan, Minn.) scored 10 points.
Drake (5-1) led Notre Dame (5-0) 17-15 after a 3-pointer by Bachrodt with 41 seconds in the first quarter. However, Arike Ogunbowale evened the game at 17-17 with a jumper with just four seconds left to tie the contest at 17-17 after one quarter.
