TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State made 10 three-pointers to help defeat the Drake University women's basketball, 68-53, Sunday afternoon at the Hulman Center.
Junior Lizzy Wendell (Blue Springs, Mo.) scored a team-high 18 points for Drake (17-7, 10-3 MVC) while adding three steals. Sophomore Maddy Dean (Jordan, Minn.) tallied 13 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to record her sixth double-double of the season. Junior Caitlin Ingle (Runnells, Iowa) had seven points, six rebounds and three assists.
Drake had its five-game winning streak snapped as the Bulldogs struggled to shoot the basketball finishing at 30.
