PEORIA, Ill. – The Drake University women's basketball team closes the first half of the Missouri Valley Conference season Sunday at Bradley. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at Renaissance Coliseum and the action will be broadcast on The Valley on ESPN3.
Drake (13-7, 8-0 MVC) visits Bradley (10-9, 4-4 MVC) after it rallied for a 65-58 win at Illinois State Friday night. The Bulldogs fell behind 12 points to the Redbirds in the second quarter and it's the largest deficit overcome this season for the team.
Sophomore Becca Hittner (Urbandale, Iowa) scored a game-high 21 points, including 16 points in the final two quarters along with pulling down six rebounds.
