Senior forward Lizzy Wendell became just the fourth player in Drake women's basketball history to eclipse the career 2,000-point mark in the Bulldogs' recent win at Nebraska. Wendell, the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the MVC and ranks eighth in the nation in scoring at 22.0 points per game this season. She has led the MVC in scoring in each of previous two seasons.
