The Drake University volleyball team travels to No. 25 UNI Tuesday, Oct. 17, evening for a mid-week Missouri Valley Conference match. Both teams enter the match tied for second in the MVC standings with matching 7-1 conference records. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at the McLeod Center.
Drake and UNI both suffered their first conference losses over the weekend to MVC leader Missouri State. The Bulldogs dropped a 3-2 decision to the Bears, while UNI fell, 4-1.
Drake's loss snapped its 10-match winning streak, which was the fifth longest in the nation. However, the Bulldogs have won 11 of their last 12 matches and are 11-3 in their last 14 MVC matches dating back to last season.
